The Smartracker Wheel Tracker is used to determine the resistance of hot asphalt mixes (HMA) to rutting and moisture sensitivity. During a single test, you can test both wheels wet or dry, or simultaneously run one wheel dry and the other wet. To perform the test, a wheel tracking apparatus is used to simulate the effect of traffic and to measure the deformation susceptibility of the bituminous sample.
