Automatic SCB (Semi Circular Bending) System Device; For mechanical testing of asphalt mixes, the S205N Unitronic with a 50 kN load frameis used. Various versions of the Semi-Circular Bend Test (SCB) can be performed to evaluate the characteristic properties of asphalt mixes at break under moderate temperature conditions. Automatic SCB System can operate in load control and displacement control modes and allows for a wide variety of asphalt tests including IDT/TSR, MARSHALL and POST CUT. The SCB tester has accessories specified in EN 12697-44, AASHTO TP124 (recommended by the University of Illinois), and ASTM D8044 (recommended by Louisiana State University).
